You just completed the google digital marketing and e-commerce certificate. This is a huge achievement that shows that you’re invested in learning new skills for your future. On behalf of me and my fellow course instructors, congratulations. If you completed the certificate in order, you may have faced challenges along the way. You could have given up, but instead you made the decision to persevere. And for that, we commend you. As you learned at the beginning of this program, the demand for digital marketing and e-commerce skills is growing at an incredible rate. That means with the skills and knowledge you’ve gained from this program, you can begin applying for entry-level jobs or work to advance your career in these high-growth, high-impact fields. Let’s review all you’ve learned throughout this program. You started by learning the foundations of e-commerce and digital marketing. Here you learned the roles and functions that e-commerce and digital marketing play within an organization, explored the idea of the customer journey in the function of journey maps, discovered the concept of a marketing funnel, and learned how they apply to the digital marketing and e-commerce journey. You also examined elements of advertising goals, advertising channels in advertisements, and identified qualities that make brands successful. Next, you learned how to attract and engage customers through digital marketing. This involved exploring customer personas and how to build a target audience, learning strategies to build brand awareness among potential customers, and understanding how a business increases their conversion rate. After that, you moved on to social media marketing and advertising. In this section, you learned that social media is a key digital marketing channel for many businesses. You explored social media platforms and identified the platform most appropriate for businesses needs. You learned how to create content for social media using graphic design principles for marketers and how to manage a social media presence. In addition, you discovered how to set goals and success metrics for social media ads. In the next course, you turned your attention to e-mail marketing. This included creating a strategy, executing e-mail campaigns, and measuring results of those campaigns. You also learned how to use mailing lists and utilize automation workflows. You even learned how to run your own e-mail marketing campaign with an interactive business scenario. Then, you moved on to the marketing analytics and measurement section of the program. During this section, you were introduced to marketing analytics practices and tools, like Google Analytics and Google Ads. You learned how to adjust the marketing budget according to the insights extracted from key metrics and how to use AB test results to optimize the campaign. You wrapped up this section by learning to analyze and visualize data and insights in spreadsheets. Then, you learned how to prepare presentations to share campaign progress and results with stakeholders. After that, you started the first of two courses dedicated specifically to e-commerce. In the first e-commerce-focused course, you learned how to conduct market research and were introduced to e-commerce platforms like Shopify. You then started a new project where you built a mock Shopify store, explored Google shopping campaigns, and learned about e-commerce trends. Finally, in this last course, you focused on building customer loyalty and preparing for jobs. First, you started off by learning more about the importance of customer loyalty and different techniques to retain a customer base. You then learned about analytical techniques and how they’re used in e-commerce. Finally, you wrapped up the course by building your portfolio and getting ready for the job interview process. It was an incredible amount of work and it’s clear that you’re ready to start your new career. The learning doesn’t end here though. As you enter this new era in your career, be sure to keep up with digital marketing and e-commerce trends. Also continue updating your portfolio and resume to show off your best work and what you’ve accomplished. You’ve already shown some serious dedication in the field, so stay curious. It’s been wonderful leading you through the final part of this program. I know you’re already well prepared for a fantastic career in digital marketing and e-commerce. Good luck!
